Hi, I’m Chef Sarah Damon nee’ Seago. I graduated from Le Cordon Bleu, January of 2011. I have catered small (50 or lower) events by myself and have worked as a head chef at a restaurant in Crestwood called Sappington Tea Barn. Due to the owner wanting to close so she can be with

her family more I moved on. I worked for Joe Bocardi’s on Watson for some time as an intern, then worked as a line cook for Russell’s Cafe and Bakery. In more recent times I have taken a job as a shift manager at Noodles & Company. And now I am a line cook for a chain restaurant called Applebee’s. I am always looking for bigger better things, hoping to one day to own my own food truck or restaurant. I’m using this website as a portfolio and a blog. I am 100% Nerd and 100% Chef, so my title of Nerd Chef is befitting.

Food is my passion and my drive, EVERYTHING else takes a back seat. I feel like without food humans can’t be who they are. I don’t think that anyone should go hungry and that is one of the big issues in the world I would like to solve. But since I am just one person, without money, without a big corporation to back me up. I will do what I can with what I have. Remember to EAT, DRINK, and BE NERDY!
